About the Group

The Yoon Plasma Group conducts theoretical and numerical investigations of cross-disciplinary plasma physics problems pertaining to various systems including laboratory, space, astrophysical, and fusion plasmas. Some specific topics include magnetic reconnection, magnetogenesis, non-equilibrium dynamics, wave-particle interactions, plasma thermodynamics, runaway electrons, and accelerator physics.
